Since my training in Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow in India I have explored various others styles of yoga including Hatha, Yogic Arts, Forrest Yoga, Freedom Flow, Mandala Flow, Acro Yoga. In addition I have also explored other movement based practices - 5 Rhythms, Ecstatic Dance, Contact Improvisation, Space & Flow and Movement Meditation.

 

like to draw inspiration from all these sources to create a carefully sequenced  practice, flowing from one asana to another, where you never know which posture will come next.

 

Using breath to initiate movement, this style of 'moving mediation', often described as a dance, aims to bring you into the present moment and encourages you to feel into "what is" allowing for a more embodied experience. 

 

The power of touch is fundamental to the bodies wellbeing. I love to incorporate adjustments and Ayurvedic Yoga Massage techniques, where possible to dissolve the unconscious protective tension that is held within our bodies.

 

By allowing for a good relaxation at the end of the practice this helps  you to fully release and unwind, restoring balance back to  body and mind.
